We are pleased to announce that our Port of Edmonds administration building project
has been awarded LEED Silver certification, joining a select group of sustainable
buildings recognized by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
rating system. This certification demonstrates our commitment to environmentally
responsible construction practices.
Our project achieved a total of 53 points, securing its place at the Silver level. Notable
areas of recognition include Storage and Collection of Recyclables, Construction and
Demolition Waste Management Planning, and Optimize Energy Performance, with
energy savings of 26%. We also excelled in categories such as Indoor Water Use
Reduction (35%), Light Pollution Reduction, Reduced Parking Footprint, and Sensitive
Land Protection.
This LEED Silver certification demonstrates our ability to deliver high-performance,
